In Partee (2004) Compositionality in formal semantics, Barbara Partee describes her first introduction to Montague's work at a UCLA seminar in 1968 (attended also by David Lewis). Montague: Formal Philosophy (Introduction + Chapter 8 PTQ). By Alan Henderson Gardiner; The Sound Pattern of English By Noam Chomsky, Morris Halle; Aspects of the Theory of Syntax By Noam Chomsky; Introduction to Montague Semantics by David R. Dowty, David., Robert Wall, and Stanley Peters (1981). Introduction to Montague Semantics. Partee & Hendriks: Montague Grammar. Conversational introduction to Montague semantics.
